Future Battery Forum 2025: Connecting Europe's Battery Value Chain for Sustainable Innovation
We are excited to share that the 6th edition of the Future Battery Forum will take place on 25 and 26 November 2025 at the Estrel Congress Center (ECC Berlin) in Berlin, Germany, offering both in‑person and hybrid participation formats. As Europe’s foremost battery industry conference and expo, this premier event will bring together senior decision‑makers from across the entire value chain—cell producers, system integrators, OEMs, policymakers, service providers, and investors.
This year’s edition will tackle six strategic focus themes shaping tomorrow’s battery landscape:
Market strategies and policies
Manufacturing and gigafactories
Battery chemistry and design
Electric mobility
Battery energy storage systems (BESS) applications
Lifecycle and sustainability
These topics will guide discussions on how policy frameworks can accelerate the build‑up of European gigafactories, the latest chemistry breakthroughs from solid‑state to sodium‑ion formats, diverse mobility use cases beyond cars, large‑scale and local grid storage, and innovative circular business models.
Following the success of the 2024 edition, with over 1,000 on‑site attendees, more than 2,000 online participants from 96 countries, upwards of 100 exhibitors, and 80+ international speakers, the 2025 Forum promises even deeper industry engagement and impact.
Participants can expect high‑level keynotes, panel discussions, specialist workshops, master classes, networking formats, and interactive tech demos. Featured side events include:
Women in Battery meet‑up
Talent Club networking sessions
Site excursion
Evening reception and party with DJ, cocktail bar, and photo booth
