EU Directive
The Batteries Directive 2006/66/EC is the main piece of legislation governing the batteries placed in the European Union. The review process of the Directive started in 2020. EPBA is available to share our industry knowledge and advise on the feasibility of the different policy options under discussion with impact in the portable batteries segment.
